The auberge SAHARA is  built by the BOURCHOK brothers some meters far fromthe  sand  dunes  of “ERG CHEBBI” in the oasis known/famous by the turning of many  international films such as :sahara secrets, Marrakech express, operation condor ,lion of the desert,…In this oasis, the highest palm trees of the region and the lovely sand dunes gives exceptional beautiful view especially from the terrace of the auberge from whitch we can assist the sun rise/sun set and where we also can sleep under the open sky full of stars…

The oral local legend tells that the construction of the biggest erg  of Morocco" Erg Chebbi"  was god punishment for some rich families who refused to give shelter to a poor woman  and  her son during a local festival .They  were buried in the sand of storms that formed big dunes that mesure  about 160 m high.
Sand is good for patients with rheumatics ,they bury themselves in the hot sand in summer for some minuts.
